Much like Hollywood, Bollywood too seems to be taking the route of franchise films. And even the big stars of the industry are willing to be a part of these franchises. Until now, Salman Khan was the only superstar to be part of three different franchise – Dabangg films, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai and finally the actor also became a part of the Race films in Race 3. Now, Ajay Devgn has joined this exclusive club. The Raid actor is was already a part of the Golmaal and Singham franchise, both are Rohit Shetty’s creations.

Now, the actor is also joined the Dhamaal series of films. Ajay Devgn will be appearing in Total Dhamaal which is set to release next month. The trailer for the film dropped last week and has fan buzzing about it. With Total Dhamaal, Ajay Devgn too has three different film franchises that he is a part of. The first Dhamaal released in 2007 while the sequel titled Double Dhamaal had hit theatres in 2011.

Total Dhamaal also stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Riteish Deshmukh, Johny Lever and Sanjai Mishra in key roles. The film is set to hit the screens on February 22. The upcoming romantic comedy has been directed by Luv Ranjan, known for his films like the Pyar Ka Punchnama series and the more recent hit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
